Rod has over 40+ years’ of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.  After serving in the Marine Corps for 6 years, he attended Penn State University for 4 years.  Rod’s extensive experience with large and small companies in all areas of employee benefit plans is extremely noteworthy.  From plan design assistance, administration, and counseling employers and employees in helping to maximize their plans to the fullest extent while striving to minimize costs.  Rod has also worked in the independent insurance and financial services industry with companies like Equitable of Iowa, Voya, Reliastar, Investors Capital, Northwestern National, First Financial Planners, Coastal Equities, and Jackson National just to name a few.  Rod is currently licensed in 5 states including NC, SC FLA, TX, and PA, and has his Life and Health Licenses.  He is also a Registered Representative with LPL Financial and a member of the Moore County Chamber of Commerce. Rod is also currently studying for his Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) designation and his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation. He lives in Pinebluff NC with his wife Kathy of 44 years.
